Adding Additional Users to Your FullContact Account
Introduction
In this short guide you will learn how to add other co-workers and users to your organizational account or "Organization" with FullContact. When you invite another user to your organization they will have the ability to:
- Login and view API usage data from your account
- View customer recognition results from your account
- View match test results
- Upload and download data from your CFTP (sftp) account
Users that are designated as Organization Admins will have all of those abilities, and will also be able to:
- Create new API keys
- Create new customer recognition webtag keys
- View and modify billing method information
Prerequisites
In order to add additional users to an account, your FullContact account must be enabled for Organization access. One way that you can tell if your account is provisioned for this access, is to look for the "Organization" menu option under Account Settings.
If you do not have this menu option, or are unsure if Organization access is enabled - please contact support via email at [email protected] or by using the chat icon - typically in the lower right side of the page.
Steps
1. Login to your existing FullContact account
Visit https://platform.fullcontact.com/login and login using your username and password. If you do not know your password click on the "forgot password" link
2. Click on the "Account" menu option in the lower left
3. Click on the "Organization" menu option
Inside of your Organization view, you can see all of the users on your account.
4. Click the "Invite User" button
5. Enter the email of the user you wish to invite and click "Invite"
There are some cases where a user cannot be invited directly to your organization. If you receive an error message after clicking "Invite" you may need to contact support at [email protected] or use the chat icon.
6. User will receive an email invite to join the organization
After you click "Invite", the user will receive an email invite at the specified email address with a link to join the organization.
You can monitor the status of the Invites sent. Any pending invites will show under the "Invites" tab and any accepted invites will show under the "Members" tab.
If you would like grant "Admin" access to select users - firsst that user must accept the invite. Once a user shows under the "Members" tab you can click on the pencil icon to change their role from "User" to "Admin".
