Introduction

FullContact's Permission API is a ledger that allows brands, partners, agencies alike to track a variety of permission and preference operations over time paired with details about what an individual's consent entails, such as:

• Acknowledgment of consented data
• Purpose of consented data
• Which Partner or Vendor of FullContact's is enabling the consent on the user
• Location of Terms of service and/or Privacy Policy

Each preference acknowledgment is securely captured, maintained and accurately linked from some form of acceptable request identifier(s) to a FullContact PersonID. This allows for real-time consent updates, suppression, creation and retrieval.
